Today we're here with Brighton Yoder, how's it going?

- It's going great, happy to be here, yeah.

Thanks for having me.

- Awesome, awesome, so... Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Where you from, what brought you to Lubbock?

- Well, I am 20 years old, I'm from Dallas, Texas.

Richardson, so basically Dallas originally.

And I'm a sophomore at Texas Tech.

Waiting to hear back, I just applied to nursing school.

So, also doing a little bit of music in between, so yeah, but Texas Tech brought me to Lubbock.

- Awesome, awesome.

And so I know that you have the one song out on iTunes and Spotify, and you were telling me a little earlier that you're in the process of getting ready to release another one?

- Yes, so my single "Last Words" is available, I mean it's on Google Play, Amazon Music, all those different little outlets.

But yeah, Spotify and iTunes, and then... Here in a few months I'm gonna release one more, it's called "All I Ever Wanted" and then hopefully by the end of 2017 my full EP will be out.

- Awesome, and this is gonna be the first release for you, correct?

- Mhm, yes, it's my first full release, my first full record, so.

- And I'm assuming the normal channels, iTunes, Spotify, things like that.

- Yep, yeah, it will be there for sure.

- Awesome, awesome, well... I do have a question.

Did, I know you said your step dad is a producer, are you working with him on the full length?

- So yeah, I started just kind of running in and out of the studio that my step dad works out of in Dallas, it's called Audio Dallas, when I was probably like 12, just kind of anything I wrote, I was you know, really excited to get in there and record it.

So I have a bunch of demos.

But then I signed with The Infinites Music.

Cash Callaway and Ian Osborne, just two producers right out of Dallas.

And they are doing my EP for me, so.

It's been really cool, kinda getting to step out and work outside of family.

Family's great, but yeah, so that's been fun for sure.
