(laughing) - [Woman] That's crazy.

- [Man] Don't call you ma'am?

- She's gotta move.
- She will.
- [Man] She's not going back inside.
- Who says I want to back in your boozy ass bar anyway?
- You good?
- [Woman] You don't see this.
- All right.
Where you headed?
- Where you headed?
(chuckling) (shuffling) You from L.A.?
- Oakland.
- That's dope.
I was thinking of moving there.
- Why'd you want to do that?
- [Woman] People tell me I'd like it.
- Really?
- [Woman] What do you think?
- I think you should do what you want.
- I do.
Can I stay?
- [Musician] Here?
- Yes.
- Is no one wondering where you at?
- No one I'm worried about.
- I'm gonna sleep though.
- That's cool.
(laughing) - Wait.
That's my side.
(chuckling) (sighing) (kissing) - You good?
- Yeah.
- You seem nervous.
- I'm not.
(sighing) - It's okay.
- It's just I haven't been with anyone in a minute is all.
(chuckling) What?
- Just surprised.
(kissing) (upbeat cheerful music) ♪ Blastin' ♪ ♪ Blastin' ♪ ♪ Blastin' ♪ ♪ Blastin' ♪ ♪ Blastin' ♪ - So you missing something?
(birds chirping) - [Woman] Probably.
- [Musician] (inaudible) knowledge.
(laughing) - [Woman] Sure.
- So you just thought you was gonna run up on (audio cuts out), snatch what little I got?
- Damn.
I'm caught.
- [Musician] Well.
(laughing) Well, I expect to be fairly compensated.
(kissing) (chuckling) - Jesus.
(door squeaks) (engine whirring) (slams hood) (grumbling angrily) (airplane engine humming) Should I call the cops?
- [Musician] I think you should leave.
- I have some friends that might.
(siren sounding) What if I just gave you enough money to get the engine running?
- I don't borrow money.
- Are you gonna go to a shelter?
- You ever been to one?
(rattling) - [Woman] What can I do?
(exasperated exhale) - I'm good.
- [Woman] No you're not.
Look, I'm not leaving.
(frustrated breathing) (rattling) - Come on.
♪ Summertime and the living is rough ♪ ♪ No tears for the tough ♪ ♪ Imagine the ideal man enough ♪ ♪ His hands are cuffed ♪ ♪ So let's start from the beginning ♪ ♪ The game played with no loss, loss of winning ♪ ♪ Raised by gangsters, he calls them men ♪ ♪ Say that they're doing well ♪ ♪ Cause he used to look just like them.

- Bob.

(wheels rattling) (clicks) (beeping) - Yeah, bathroom?
(sliding) (clicks) (sliding) (clanks) (rustling) (clattering) (water running) - [Woman] Anna.
Anna, are you okay?
- [Anna] I thought you were gone this week.
- [Man] Good to see you too.
(wheels rattling) - I, you, this is Bobby.
Her place got broken in to.
- We talked about what it meant for you to live here again, Anna.
You can't just bring some, some homeless person-- - She's not homeless, mom.
You realize what you look like right now?
(wheels rattling) Bobby!
- Don't.
(sniffs) - [Anna] Would you just wait?
- What?
- It's not, I know you, I-- - What do you know?
- I shouldn't have lied to you.
That was me, just, being stupid.
That's not all that's happening here, right?
- I gotta find somewhere to sleep.
(rattling wheels) (dog barking) (wheels rattling) (dog barking) (crickets chirping) (dog barking) (phone ringing) (crying) - [Woman] Hello?
Hello?
- Mama, it's me, it's Bobby.
- [Mom] Bobby.
Is that you?
Taking care of yourself down there?
(crying) - I'm trying to.
- [Mom] You ain't sold your soul yet.
- Nah, nobody's made me the offer.
- [Mom] It'll come.
You know what to do.
(crying) - I know.
- [Mom] You sound upset.
You dying?
- Eh, it's just that I got a lot to take care of is all.
- [Mom] Well, rest and be thankful.
- I will.
- [Mom] You need anything?
- (crying) Nah, just wanted to hear your voice right quick.
- [Mom] I'll let you go then.
Give yourself a hug for me, okay?
- Okay mama.
- [Mom] I love you, baby.
